Kannapolis Cannon Ballers is a Class-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox and competes in the South Atlantic League of the MiLB with the Atrium Health Ballpark as its home stadium. Founded in 1995 as the “Piedmont Phillies”, the Cannon Ballers have won 1 League and Division title each. Chris Getz, Brent Morel, and Clayton Richard are a few notable players to have represented this team.
