Jane Bunnett is a Canadian saxophonist and flautist who is known for her unique Afro-Cuban jazz stylings. Initially studying piano at The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Bunnett would develop tendonitis--forcing her to change instruments. Not one to miss a beat though, Bunnett quickly became adept on the flute and saxophone, eventually releasing her debut album, In Dew Time, in 1988.
