The Midland RockHounds is a minor league baseball club based out of Midland, Texas that has acted as a Double-A affiliate to several prominent Major League Baseball teams, including the Oakland Athletics most recently. Founded in 1972, the RockHounds quickly established itself as a talented and physical organization by winning its first of several league and division titles in 1975.
