The Round Rock Express is a minor league baseball team based out of Round Rock, Texas, a suburb of Austin, that competes in the Pacific Coast League's South Division. Founded in 1979, the Express has served as an affiliate team to MLB teams like the Montreal Expos, the Houston Astros and the Texas Rangers. Having clinched its first of several league and division titles in 1984, the Express has proven itself as more than just a team that produces capable players who go on to have illustrious carers in the big leagues.
