The Springfield Cardinals is a minor league baseball team based out of Springfield, Missouri that competes in the Texas League's North Division. Founded in 2005, the team is the Double-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals and has managed to produce several payers who've gone on to have illustrious careers in the big leagues. Having won its first division title in 2007, the team has demonstrated its worth and proven to be one of the more formidable teams in its league.
