Jochen Distelmeyer was the front man for German indie-pop band Blumfeld and ever since the group broke up in 2007 he has been pursuing his own style of pop music. Although his songs touch on important cultural issues like immigration and maintain an "us vs. them" attitude, he also comes produces music widely considered fun.
