Ludwig Güttler

Ludwig Güttler is a German trumpet and corno da caccia virtuoso who has collected various accolades for his pristine technique. Recipient of the Deutsche Phono Akademie prize for Discovery of the Year in 1983, as well as Frankfurt's Musikpreis for extraordinary achievements in 1989, he has become an integral part of the national symphonic music scene. Güttler was a founding member of the Rheingau Musik Festival, which he plays every year, and continues to maintain a standard of excellence in the world of Baroque music.
