Torfrock

Torfrock is a German rock band that emerged in 1976. With a distinctively Northern German style, the band uses its native Low German language to write surreal and satirical songs. Torfrock released its debut album, Dat matscht so schon, in 1977. Having since established itself in the greater German scene, the group went on to write original soundtracks for all the Werner comics films. With over a dozen LPs under its belt, the band is widely considered a pillar of modern Northern German culture.
