Growing up in a big family in Northern Ireland, Kieran Goss was exposed to an astonishing amount of varied music as he was reared. Artists like Willie Nelson, Frank Sinatra as well as bands like The Rolling Stones and The Beatles left a strong impression in the formative mind of young Goss. After getting his first guitar at the age of nine, he started fooling around on the six stringed instrument--composing songs and learning how to add lyrical accompaniment to his playing. In the mid-1980s, Goss would gig around Belfast and start to build a respectable name for himself by playing an ardent amount of shows in the Belfast region. He released his first album in 1989 and has since managed to maintain a good amount of popularity throughout the UK and Ireland.
