Hans Zimmer

Hans Zimmer is s a German film score composer and music producer who is possibly best known for his work on films like The Lion King, Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and The Dark Knight. Beginning his career writing commercial jingles, then collaborating with The Buggles on the hit "Video Killed the Radio Star," then joining an Italian avante-garde group, Zimmer finally settled as film composer, opening the legendary Lillie Yard recording studio with Stanley Myers. Averaging two to three blockbuster cinematic scores a year, Zimmer shows no sign of slowing down.
