Jellybean Benitez

Emerging during the early-1980s when electronic dance music was in its infancy, John Benitez, who oftentimes performs as Jellybean, helped pioneer a style of music that blended four-on-the-floor house rhythms with funk sonic eccentricities to create something new, original and well suited the the emerging electronic music scene. In addition to being an innovative musician and DJ, Benitez has also produced a number of high profile musicians including Whitney Houston and Madonna.
