Ajja is a Swiss electronic music artist who primarily creates songs that fall into the psytrance genre. Feeling a strong affinity towards the arts at a young age, Ajja traveled the world delving into the arts scenes--playing guitar in various ensembles, most predominantly funk groups. However, towards the end of the late 1990s, Ajja's interest in electronic music began to burgeon and he started composing his own original style of music that blended house rhythms with trance melodies. After honing in on a characteristic sound, Ajja released his first solo material in 2007 and the unique take on club-friendly electronic fusion managed to resonate well with a hefty amount of European electronic music connoisseurs. Ajja has been a noted fixture of the late night club scene ever since and his compelling live shows have helped define the modern European electronic dance scene.
