Though it might be a difficult feat for a group of various band leaders to come together and found a new group without having issues surrounding creative control and leadership, Toronto-based group Hands & Teeth seems to have had no difficulty doing just that. The five-piece shares songwriting duties equally and thus showcases the varied background of its band members--ranging from ethereal dreampop to gritty indie rock and evidently influenced by folk and classical composition. While Hands & Teeth only formed in 2010, it has already garnered positive press for its tight live performance and had one of its first singles featured in a McDonalds commercial.
