DJ and producer Josh Wink was probably most prominent as a pioneer on the underground rave scene in the 1990s. However, the Philadelphia-based electronic musician is now notable for his bass-heavy acid techno and tribal house, which has been featured in the video game Grand Theft Auto and has won him the ability to work with the likes of Trent Reznor and Ursula Rucker. Josh Wink also owns his own record label, Ovum Recordings--with fellow producer King Britt--that has operated successfully since 1994. A favorite in the UK and the US, Josh Wink DJs regularly at clubs and festivals throughout these countries.
