The UNLV Rebels represents the athletic programs and intercollegiate teams of the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. As a member of the NCAA's Division I, the university competes in the Mountain West Conference, the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation and the Football Bowl Subdivision. UNLV maintains well-respected football and basketball programs, with the latter winning the NCAA championship in the men's March Madness tournament in 1990. Other men's and women's sports supported by the university include football, golf, baseball, tennis, volleyball, softball, cross country and soccer. One notable alumni to start at UNLV is retired NFL quarterback, Randall Cunningham.
