The Golden Bears represent the athletic programs and intercollegiate teams of the University of California in Berkeley, California. As a member of the NCAA's Division I, the university competes in the Pacific-12 Conference, Mountain Pacific Sports Federation and the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). Cal has developed a sturdy athletic reputation over the decades thanks in large part to its baseball and football programs, which have both claimed multiple national championships.
