The North Carolina Wolfpack represents the athletic programs and intercollegiate teams of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. As a member of the NCAA's Division I, the university competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference and the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). North Carolina State has a history of successful men's basketball programs and won its first NCAA national title in 1974. Other men's and women's programs sponsored by the university include baseball, football, cross country, golf, soccer, swimming, softball, tennis and volleyball.
