Steve Cropper

Steve Cropper is a blues musician and songwriter who is known as the guitarist of the iconic Stax Records house band, Booker T. & the M.G.'s. Often ranked as one of the greatest contemporary guitarists, he has released a modest yet acclaimed catalog of records over his decades long career, starting with his 1971 debut With a Little Help from My Friends. Having backed prolific artists such as Otis Redding and fronted groups like The Animals, Cropper has amassed a lifetime of experience and now sits confidently as a solo artist.
