Calan is a English band that creates a distinctively modern style of traditional Welsh folk music. The group released its debut album, Bling, in 2008 and since then the group has been busy headlining shows and playing music festivals. Considered youthful ambassadors of Welsh folk, the group has succeeded in breathing live into a style of music many have considered deceased.
