The three-piece reggae group Raggasonic is composed of Stéphane Joaquim, Mory Samaké and producer Francois Allegre who respectively go by their stage names Big Red, Daddy Mory and Frenchie. With a style that combines the electronics of ragga and the calculated cool of hip-hop, the group was discovered in the early 1990s immediately began releasing material. Raggasonic released its eponymous debut album in 1995, featuring its most recognizable hit "Sors avec ton gun." The band's follow up Raggasonic 2, was dropped in 1997. Although the group's individual members have since pursued solo careers, Raggasonic reunited in 2012 to play a series of shows around France.
