Samuël Adebiyi, who performs and releases music under his Féfé moniker, is a French singer/songwriter who is known for interjecting hip-hop inspired lyrical rhyming styles into his music. Beginning his career in the late 1990s as a member of the popular French rap collective Saïan Supa Crew, Féfé would eventually break away and launch a solo career, starting with his 2009 debut album, Jeune à la retraite. Unafraid of blending genres that people might imagine antipodes of one another, an average song by Féfé will often times combine Carribean folk, with modern rap and acoustic roots music to create a rich sonic amalgam.
