Tennessee-born singer/songwriter and performer Justin Timberlake was once at the forefront of the hugely popular boy band *NSYNC. While his band-mates faded into the background once the group broke up and the age of the boy band ended, Timberlake established himself as a respectable solo musician who now works with some of the biggest names in music. Taking time off from music to focus on his acting career, Timberlake returned to music in 2013, dropped another hit album and collaborated with the likes of Timbaland and Rick Rubin, gaining respect from reluctant critics.
