Red Baraat

Red Baraat is a jam band from New York City that is led by dohl drummer and MC Sonny Jain. With rock, latin, jazz and Bhangra influences the nine-piece ensemble creates a brand of energetic and infectious funk that it describes as dhol n' brass music. The band's instrument repertoire of five brass horns, a sousaphone, an array of percussion instruments and of course a dhol drum allows Red Baraat to create globally influenced music with its own cool Brooklyn-style.
