Jean S. is not, despite the band's name, a classical composer, but a Finnish pop act that is known for its cover songs. The band was formed in 1991 but its debut album, Fuffaffida, wasn't released until 1996. The band also performs with the Finnish group Uusi iloinen teatteri.
