The Oakland Golden Grizzlies are the athletic teams which compete for Oakland University based out of Rochester, MI. The university has 16 different intramural men's and women's teams, some of which include baseball, basketball, soccer and track among others. In 1998, the Grizzlies played in the Summit League, however in 2014, the programs switched into the Horizon League within NCAA Division I. While the Grizzlies were in Division II athletics, they won more than 10 different national titles, all in men's and women's swimming and diving.
