Harlem Shakes was an indie/alternative rock band from New York City that led a relatively short career, marked by the release of a single album, Technicolor Health, which was both a critical and commercial success. Although it's a bit of a mystery as to why the band decided to go on hiatus at the height of its popularity, the members of Harlem Shakes are still active on their own in the indie rock community.
