Betraying the Martyrs

Betraying the Martyrs is a death metal band that was founded in Paris in 2008. Blending progressive metal into brutal, hardcore punk stylings, the band harnessed a surprising repertoire of bombastic harmonies and sticky hooks before dropping its debut full-length album, Breathe in LIfe, in 2011. With the attention of the international deathcore community in its hand, Betraying the Martyrs released its sophomore LP, Phantom, in 2014 with Sumerian Records.
