Black Bananas

The Black Bananas are a rock band formerly known as RTX. Brian Mckinley, Kurt Midness, Jaimo Welch and Nadav Eisenman have supported front-woman Jennifer Herrema since they formed RTX in 2002. The band changed its name to Black Bananas in 2011 after releasing three albums to mark the beginning of a new era of music. The band's sound is a rock and roll mixture of metal with classic rock undertones. The Black Bananas debut album under its new name Rad Timex Xpress IV, was released in 2012 and features a cover of The Rolling Stone's hit "Before They Make Me Run," with guitarist Kurt Vile.
