This wildly popular Japanese rock band formed in 1991 with bassist Tetsuya recruiting vocalist Hyde. Since then, the guitarist and drummers have changed, but the current lineup of the guitarist, Ken, and the drummer, Yukihiro, have been rocking Japan since 1997. Their popularity has taken them on tours outside of Japan and landed them an American debut at Maryland's Otakon festival in 2004. They have also had highly-anticipated tours in Asia and Europe. Their rock-pop music has also been a hit Japan, with several singles and albums ranking on the Oricon chart, the Japanese version of Billboards.
