Kishi Bashi

K Ishibashi, known by his stage name of Kishi Bashi, is an indie pop singer/songwriter and violinist. Originally from Seattle, he has lived and played music all over the country, most notably collaborating and performing in backing bands for high profile artists such as of Montreal, Regina Spektor and even Katy Perry. As a solo artist, Ishibashi employs a psychedelic and undeniably sunny brand of indie pop that takes full advantage of his prodigious violin talents and loop station skills. In 2011, he officially launched his solo career, opening on tour for Sondre Lerche and of Montreal.
