Tashaki Miyaki

UK-based dream pop singer/songwriter Tashaki Miyaki is one of the more interesting musicians to have emerged out of 2011. With an earnest singing style and an unpretentious approach to instrumental composing, Miyaki managed to release one of the more listenable LPs of 2011 with her eponymously-titled album. Though she has caught hold of a small yet dedicated group of followers in her native England, with more touring under her belt, the chanteuse's notoriety overseas will no doubt grow.
