Philip Glass

One of the most renowned musical artists of the 20th and 21st Centuries, Philip Glass is a now legendary composer who has helped push modern music to evolutionary brinks. He has experimented in numerous forms, genres and styles over the years, from minimalism to classicism and from soundtracks to symphonies to operas and many more. His experimental and effusive approach to music making and art has brought him into rich contact and collaboration with a vast community of artists that includes some of the most influential filmmakers, visual artist, choreographers, theater directors, actors and musicians of our time. He is also the founder of his own ensemble, the Phillip Glass Ensemble, which performs concerts internationally.
