Scott Lucas & the Married Men is the alternative country/rock solo endeavor of singer/songwriter Scott Lucas. Best known a the lead singer of Local H, Lucas started the band after writing and sending several songs to his ex-girlfriend in an attempt to win her back. Once he realized he had sent enough material for an album, he rounded up his musician friends to form Scott Lucas & the Married Men. The band released its first album George Lassos the Moon, in 2010. After a couple of years Soctt Lucas & the Married Men released a second album, Blood Half Moon in 2012, demonstrating similar themes of love, disappointment, betrayal and death with a haunting but overall more optimistic tone than its predecessor.
