Pat Thomas

Pat Thomas is a improvisational jazz musician and composer who hails from the UK. After starting his musical education on piano through classical music and later reggae, he found jazz at the age of 13. Known for his many collaborations, he's worked with several artists who operate both within and outside of the jazz world. Throughout the 1990s, he worked with long-time free improvisation artist Derek Bailey and and went on to form trios with artists like iconic post punk artist Thurston Moore and Eugene Chadbourne. Thomas has also released his own catalog of records, such as 1999's Only / Solo Piano.
