Della Mae

Della Mae is an alternative country outfit that emerged out of Boston, Massachusetts, in 2009. With an all-female lineup armed with a string instrument repertoire including a cello, mandolin, acoustic guitar and fiddle, the band owns a progressive bluegrass sound that is both technically sound and powered by heartfelt narratives. Della Mae released its debut album, I Built This Heart, in 2011, exhibiting an impressive balance of finesse and grit.
