Lucy Spraggan is an English singer/songwriter who blends various folk instrumentals with a defined hip-hop inspired vocal approach to create a uniquely orginal style of music. Having appeared on the propular British television program X-Factor, Spraggan was forced to drop out of the competeition due to illness, resulting in the musician coming in ninth place. Not one to let career setbacks demolish her dreams, Spraggan released her debut album, Top Room at the Zoo, in 2011 to a fairly favorable reception.
