Rising Appalachia

Rising Appalachia is a folk duo that tells stories through sound. With sparse harmonies, spoken word interludes and a barrage of traditional and non-traditional instruments, the group crafts an authentic fusion style that is only enhanced by its many collaborators. The duo teams up with various artists ranging from beat-boxers to jazz horn instruments and Afrobeat percussionists, who all add international textures to Rising Appalachia's already wordly sound.
