Tipton, Missouri native David Koechner is a comedian and actor who rose to fame as a cast member on the sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live in 1995. After a year with the show, he moved on to supporting roles in movies such as 1999's Austin Power: The Spy Who Shagged Me, and also teamed up with fellow SNL graduate David Allen for the live musical comedy act The Naked Trucker and T-Bones Show. Koechner earned mainstream attention during the mid-2000s as Champ Kind in Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgunday, a role he reprised in the 2013 sequel, as well as his recurring role in the US version of The Office.
