The Three O'Clock is a alternative rock band from Los Angeles that formed in 1981, releasing music under the pseudonym The Salvation Army before switching to The Three O'Clock in 1982. An integral fixture of the Pasley Underground scene that existed in Southern California in the early 1980s, The Three O'Clock blended punk rock energy with a more laid back psychedelic pop approach to song composition. The combination worked and helped the band become one of the more respected acts to emerge from the scene. Despite breaking up in 1988, with band members going their respective ways and taking arms with other alt rock acts, The Three O'Clock decided to reform at the revered Coachella Music and Arts festival in 2013.
