The Cedar Rapids Kernels is an American baseball team playing in the Midwest League of the Class A minor league system. Founded in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1890, the team became associated with Major League Baseball in 1932. The franchise has changed associations several times since then and became the Single-A affiliate for the Minnesota Twins in 2013. The Kernels host home games at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Cedar Rapids.
