The Mast is an experimental duo from Brooklyn that combines various elements to create a lush, electronic sound. Composed of vocalist and guitarist Haale Gafori and drummer Matt Kilmer, who switches between a real drum set and his laptop, the band crafts an infectious mix of psychedelic pop and futuristic IDM. The Mast dropped its debut album Wild Poppies, in 2011.
