Deradoorian

If - and if is a key word here - people have heard of Angel Deradoorian, they've probably heard of her because of her work with the New York-based indie rock troupe Dirty Projectors. Her haunting female vocals bolster many of the Projectors' songs and bring an air of feminine grace to the group's aesthetic. Her solo material is a lot less structured, but the lack of cohesion provides Deradoorian's tracks with a vulnerable quality that makes her sound endearing and easy to like.
