Chief Keef

Chief Keef is a rapper from Chicago who has risen to attention with a string of headline grabbing antics, ranging from legal problems, spats with other recording artists and issues with not censoring himself in public forums. After being apprehended on charges of heroin manufacturing and distribution in 2011, Keef was found delinquent and served time on house arrest. During this time, Keef began creating songs and videos to post on YouTube, earning a regional following in the Chicago area and various record label suitors. After being netted by Interscope, Keef released his debut 2012 album, Finally Rich, to generally positive critical laudation.
