Chalk Talk

Chalk Talk is a band from Hartford, Connecticut that blends a number of alt-rock styles with a strong affinity for DIY sensibilities to create a unique style of music that's well-suited for today's post modern music scene. Shortly after forming in 2009, the band released a six song EP to favorable reception, but because it ardently totes a strong anti-mainstream and anti-commercial ethos, Chalk Talk will probably never receive crossover success. Nevertheless, the group's strong moral convictions won't stop it from creating forward thinking listening material that isn't driven by financial gains.
