Are We There Yet?

Are We There Yet? is a musical production that takes a satirical look at the modern American family. Told through a series of vignettes, the show is full of familiar moments that most parents have been through whether they admit it or not: The freak-out moment when you bring your newborn baby home and realize your life will never be the same, halfheartedly attending your child's ballet recital, and meeting your daughter's prom date. Are We There Yet? also takes the point of view of children with numbers like "Your Parents Push Your Buttons 'Cause They Put 'em There," and that of grandmothers, in the song "What Happened to the Good Old Days." Ultimately, this is production about being a family and growing old together while cherishing the little moments like family road trips, no matter how much they drive you crazy.
