47Soul, is an electronic music group whose popularity has surpassed the borders of its home-country, Jordan. Formed in 2013, it started composing songs by blending the traditional Mijwiz (a Levantine folk musical style) with advanced electronic instruments and the result was Shamstep. Its first album is also named Shamstep, was released in 2015. Like its music, its lyrics are also equally unique. Written using a mixture of English and Arabic to vocalize the freedom struggles faced throughout the world. 47Soul has performed at many international festivals like Walthamstow Garden Party, Festival Med and Fusion festival.
