The Prom

With a book by Bob Martin and Chad Beguelin, The Prom is a musical that follows the story of a group of has-been, Broadway actors that descend on a small town in Indiana. Well-intentioned though they may be, chaos ensues as they strive to seek justice for a high-school student who has been denied permission to take her girlfriend to prom. This light-hearted, playful comedy is choreographed to a lively score by Matthew Sklar, with plenty of laughter, tender moments and joyful dance numbers thrown into the mix. The show first premiered in Atlanta at the Alliance Theater in 2016 and on Broadway in 2018.
