Taking its name from a line of prologue in Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet, Two Hours Traffic is a four-piece based out of Charlottetown, Canada. The group was formed in 2000 when all of the members were freshman at the University of Prince Edward Island and since then the group has consistently produced polished power pop with generally positive messages, such as songs against alcohol. Two Hours Traffic has been well received in Canada, garnering a nomination for the coveted Polaris Music Prize and playing a set during the opening ceremony for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Whistler, and has been well received in the US, getting songs on multiple popular television programs, including Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill and The OC.
