Boys Who Say No

Toronto-based four-piece Boys Who Say No has a penchant for shouting harmonies, working with country-tinged acoustic guitars and occasionally crossing over into emo-pop territory. Though these influences are broad and though the band apparently likes to throw in even further genre confusion by referring to the music it plays as "Chinese pop / Showtunes / Hyphy" on its MySpace page, the band essentially makes indie party pop and since its formation in 2008, the group has received quite a bit of buzz in its native country.
