Matthew Lucas, aka Peekaboo, is an electronic music artist from Michigan. Having a professional trumpet player as his father imbibed the love of music in Lucas at an early age. He is a multi-instrumentalist and has studied audio engineering, both of these characteristics helped him pave his way into a promising music career. He debuted in 2017 with his EP Revenge. Although the EP received positive reviews from its listeners, it was the track "Wobbly" that catapulted him to popularity. "Wobbly" not only established him as a talented upcoming artist but also presented him with many offers of collaboration. Peekaboo went on to create many successful EPs like Imposters and Maniac, the latter of which was described as one of the best bass tracks of 2018 by multiple critics.
